Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has released a centralised notification (NFR/NAPS/ACT APP./2026) inviting online applications for 6,777 Act Apprentice training vacancies for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 cycles across 8 divisions and workshops located in Assam, West Bengal and Bihar. The online application window opened on 20 July 2026 and closes on 19 August 2026 at 5:30 PM. Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board and hold a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade from the National Council for Vocational Training. There is no written examination; selection is based purely on a merit list prepared from Matriculation and ITI marks. Selected apprentices will receive a minimum monthly stipend of Rs 9,600. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official NFR website before the closing date.

पूर्वोत्तर सीमांत रेलवे (एनएफआर) ने एक केंद्रीकृत अधिसूचना (NFR/NAPS/ACT APP./2026) जारी करते हुए असम, पश्चिम बंगाल और बिहार में स्थित 8 मंडलों एवं कार्यशालाओं में 2025-26 और 2026-27 सत्र के लिए 6,777 एक्ट अप्रेंटिस प्रशिक्षण पदों हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं। ऑनलाइन आवेदन की प्रक्रिया 20 जुलाई 2026 से शुरू होकर 19 अगस्त 2026 शाम 5:30 बजे तक चलेगी। उम्मीदवारों के पास मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से न्यूनतम 50% अंकों के साथ मैट्रिक (कक्षा 10) उत्तीर्ण होना चाहिए तथा राष्ट्रीय व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण परिषद से संबंधित ट्रेड में नेशनल ट्रेड सर्टिफिकेट (आईटीआई) होना अनिवार्य है। इसमें कोई लिखित परीक्षा नहीं होगी; चयन पूरी तरह मैट्रिक एवं आईटीआई के अंकों के आधार पर तैयार मेधा सूची से किया जाएगा। चयनित अप्रेंटिस को न्यूनतम 9,600 रुपये प्रतिमाह वजीफा मिलेगा। पात्र उम्मीदवार अंतिम तिथि से पहले एनएफआर की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
