The Staff Selection Commission has issued an official notice announcing that the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) for Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Recruitment 2026 will be held from 9 to 12 September 2026, as confirmed on 12 August 2026 at ssc.gov.in. The recruitment drive, originally notified on 24 April 2026 with online applications accepted until 15 May 2026, now carries 1,275 revised vacancies comprising 146 Grade C and 1,129 Grade D posts across various central government departments. The selection process consists of a Computer-Based Test followed by a Skill Test in stenography for candidates who qualify the CBT, with separate speed and accuracy requirements for Grade C and Grade D categories. Candidates who applied during the notification window should watch for the release of admit cards closer to the exam dates and prepare for both the objective test and the subsequent skill test. This is one of SSC's key annual recruitment exercises for stenographer posts in ministries and departments across India.

कर्मचारी चयन आयोग (एसएससी) ने आधिकारिक सूचना जारी कर बताया है कि स्टेनोग्राफर ग्रेड सी और ग्रेड डी भर्ती 2026 की कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा (सीबीई) 9 से 12 सितंबर 2026 तक आयोजित की जाएगी, जिसकी पुष्टि 12 अगस्त 2026 को ssc.gov.in पर की गई। यह भर्ती मूल रूप से 24 अप्रैल 2026 को अधिसूचित की गई थी और ऑनलाइन आवेदन 15 मई 2026 तक स्वीकार किए गए थे; अब इसमें कुल 1,275 संशोधित रिक्तियां हैं, जिनमें 146 ग्रेड सी और 1,129 ग्रेड डी पद विभिन्न केंद्र सरकार के विभागों में शामिल हैं। चयन प्रक्रिया में कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा के बाद उत्तीर्ण उम्मीदवारों के लिए आशुलिपि (स्टेनोग्राफी) कौशल परीक्षा होगी, जिसमें ग्रेड सी और ग्रेड डी के लिए अलग-अलग गति व सटीकता मानदंड निर्धारित हैं। जिन उम्मीदवारों ने आवेदन विंडो के दौरान आवेदन किया था, उन्हें परीक्षा तिथि के निकट प्रवेश पत्र जारी होने पर नजर रखनी चाहिए और वस्तुनिष्ठ परीक्षा के साथ-साथ कौशल परीक्षा की तैयारी करनी चाहिए। यह एसएससी की देशभर के मंत्रालयों और विभागों में स्टेनोग्राफर पदों हेतु प्रमुख वार्षिक भर्ती प्रक्रियाओं में से एक है।
