शिक्षा विभाग, पंजाब के अंतर्गत भर्ती निदेशालय ने 31 अगस्त 2026 को लेक्चरर कैडर भर्ती 2026 के लिए एडमिट कार्ड जारी किए, जिसमें कुल 1,013 पद हैं, इनमें 184 पहले से रिक्त तथा 829 नए सृजित पद विभिन्न विषयों में शामिल हैं। ओएमआर शीट के जरिए ऑफलाइन आयोजित होने वाली इस लिखित परीक्षा में कोई नकारात्मक अंकन नहीं है, तथा यह विषयवार आयोजित हो रही है: हिंदी व जीव विज्ञान 19 सितंबर को, राजनीति विज्ञान व इतिहास 20 सितंबर को, अंग्रेजी 26 सितंबर को, तथा गणित व पंजाबी 27 सितंबर 2026 को, सुबह सत्र 9:30 से 12:00 बजे तथा शाम सत्र 3:00 से 5:30 बजे तक। उम्मीदवार आधिकारिक भर्ती पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण नंबर व जन्मतिथि से लॉगिन कर हॉल टिकट डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। उम्मीदवारों को अपने निर्धारित परीक्षा केंद्र पर प्रिंटेड एडमिट कार्ड के साथ वैध मूल फोटो पहचान पत्र लाना अनिवार्य है, इनके बिना प्रवेश नहीं मिलेगा। यह भर्ती अभियान पंजाब के सरकारी उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में विभिन्न विषयों की लंबित लेक्चरर रिक्तियां भरने के उद्देश्य से चलाया जा रहा है।
