The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) released Notification No. 07/2026 on 15 September 2026 for Group-I Services Recruitment, inviting applications for 163 vacancies across the Finance, General Administration, Law, Legislature, Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Revenue, and LFB & IBM departments. Posts on offer include Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil and Communications), Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, District Educational Officer, Regional Transport Officer, District Tribal Welfare Officer, Deputy Registrar, Municipal Commissioner Grade-II, Assistant Treasury/Accounts Officer, District Employment Officer, Assistant Audit Officer, and Divisional Development Officer. Online applications will be accepted from 6 October to 27 October 2026. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university, with a B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication required for the DSP Communications post. The age limit is 18 to 42 years, extended to 44 years for non-uniform services. Selection involves a qualifying Prelims exam, a merit-deciding Mains exam, and an interview; Prelims is tentatively scheduled for December 2026.

आंध्र प्रदेश लोक सेवा आयोग (एपीपीएससी) ने 15 सितंबर 2026 को ग्रुप-1 सेवा भर्ती हेतु अधिसूचना संख्या 07/2026 जारी की, जिसमें वित्त, सामान्य प्रशासन, विधि, विधानमंडल, नगर प्रशासन एवं शहरी विकास, राजस्व तथा एलएफबी एंड आईबीएम विभागों में कुल 163 पदों हेतु आवेदन आमंत्रित हैं। इनमें डिप्टी कलेक्टर, डिप्टी पुलिस अधीक्षक (सिविल व कम्युनिकेशंस), सहायक राज्य कर आयुक्त, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी, क्षेत्रीय परिवहन अधिकारी, जिला जनजातीय कल्याण अधिकारी, उप-पंजीयक, नगर आयुक्त ग्रेड-2, सहायक कोषागार/लेखा अधिकारी, जिला रोजगार अधिकारी, सहायक लेखा परीक्षा अधिकारी तथा मंडल विकास अधिकारी जैसे पद शामिल हैं। ऑनलाइन आवेदन 6 अक्टूबर से 27 अक्टूबर 2026 तक स्वीकार किए जाएंगे। उम्मीदवार के पास मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातक डिग्री होनी चाहिए, जबकि डीएसपी (कम्युनिकेशंस) पद हेतु इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एंड कम्युनिकेशन में बी.ई./बी.टेक आवश्यक है। आयु सीमा 18 से 42 वर्ष है, जो गैर-वर्दीधारी सेवाओं हेतु 44 वर्ष तक बढ़ाई गई है। चयन प्रक्रिया में क्वालिफाइंग प्रारंभिक परीक्षा, मेरिट तय करने वाली मुख्य परीक्षा तथा साक्षात्कार शामिल है; प्रारंभिक परीक्षा दिसंबर 2026 में प्रस्तावित है।
