The Directorate General of Assam Rifles has released a notification for the Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2026, inviting applications for 354 Group C posts of Warrant Officer, Havildar and Rifleman across trades including Cipher, Draughtsman, Operation Theatre Technician and Physiotherapist. Of the total vacancies, 219 are Rifleman, 129 Warrant Officer and 6 Havildar posts, distributed as SC 53, ST 25, OBC 97, EWS 34 and UR 145. Online applications open on 28 September 2026 and close on 28 October 2026 at 23:59 hrs through assamrifles.gov.in. Only male Indian citizens are eligible; age limits are 18 to 23 years for Rifleman and Havildar trades and 18 to 25 years for Warrant Officer posts, reckoned as on 1 July 2026, with standard relaxation for reserved categories, alongside trade-specific educational qualifications. Selection covers Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, document verification, a Computer-Based Test, Skill/Trade Test and Detailed Medical Examination, with the recruitment rally tentatively planned from 23 November 2026 at Jorhat or Diphu in Assam.

डायरेक्टोरेट जनरल असम राइफल्स ने तकनीकी एवं ट्रेड्समैन भर्ती रैली 2026 की अधिसूचना जारी कर वारंट ऑफिसर, हवलदार और राइफलमैन के कुल 354 ग्रुप सी पदों हेतु आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं, जो सिफर, ड्राफ्ट्समैन, ऑपरेशन थिएटर टेक्नीशियन और फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट जैसे ट्रेडों में हैं। इनमें 219 राइफलमैन, 129 वारंट ऑफिसर और 6 हवलदार पद शामिल हैं, जिनका वर्गवार वितरण SC 53, ST 25, OBC 97, EWS 34 और UR 145 है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन 28 सितंबर 2026 से शुरू होकर 28 अक्टूबर 2026 रात 11:59 बजे तक assamrifles.gov.in के माध्यम से किए जा सकेंगे। केवल पुरुष भारतीय नागरिक ही पात्र हैं; आयु सीमा 1 जुलाई 2026 के अनुसार राइफलमैन व हवलदार ट्रेड के लिए 18 से 23 वर्ष और वारंट ऑफिसर पदों के लिए 18 से 25 वर्ष रखी गई है, आरक्षित वर्गों को नियमानुसार छूट मिलेगी, साथ ही ट्रेड-विशिष्ट शैक्षणिक योग्यता आवश्यक है। चयन प्रक्रिया में शारीरिक मापदंड परीक्षण, शारीरिक दक्षता परीक्षण, दस्तावेज सत्यापन, कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा, स्किल/ट्रेड टेस्ट और विस्तृत मेडिकल जांच शामिल है, भर्ती रैली अस्थायी रूप से 23 नवंबर 2026 से असम के जोरहाट या दीफू में प्रस्तावित है।
