The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released Advertisement No. 11/2026 inviting online applications for 65 Company Commander posts in the Bihar Home Guard service. The application window is open from 10 September to 10 October 2026 through the BPSSC official website, bpssc.bih.nic.in. Only candidates already enrolled and trained in the Bihar Home Guard Force with at least 5 years of service in the organisation are eligible, and they must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university as on 1 August 2026. Selection will be through a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, medical examination and document verification. Selected candidates will draw salary under Level-6 of the pay matrix, ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month. The recruitment carries 35 percent horizontal reservation for Bihar-domicile women and 2 percent for descendants of freedom fighters, as per applicable state rules. Eligible candidates should apply well ahead of the closing date to avoid last-minute portal issues.

बिहार पुलिस अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग (बीपीएसएससी) ने विज्ञापन संख्या 11/2026 जारी करते हुए बिहार होम गार्ड सेवा में 65 कंपनी कमांडर पदों हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं। आवेदन विंडो 10 सितंबर से 10 अक्टूबर 2026 तक बीपीएसएससी की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट bpssc.bih.nic.in पर खुली है। केवल वे उम्मीदवार पात्र हैं जो पहले से बिहार होम गार्ड बल में नामांकित व प्रशिक्षित हैं और जिन्होंने संगठन में कम से कम 5 वर्ष सेवा पूरी की है, साथ ही 1 अगस्त 2026 तक मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातक डिग्री होनी चाहिए। चयन प्रारंभिक परीक्षा, मुख्य परीक्षा, शारीरिक दक्षता परीक्षा, चिकित्सा परीक्षण व दस्तावेज सत्यापन के आधार पर होगा। चयनित उम्मीदवारों को लेवल-6 वेतनमान (35,400 से 1,12,400 रुपये) मिलेगा। इस भर्ती में बिहार-निवासी महिलाओं के लिए 35 प्रतिशत तथा स्वतंत्रता सेनानी वंशजों के लिए 2 प्रतिशत क्षैतिज आरक्षण लागू है।
