The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) released Advertisement No. 28/2026 on 24 September 2026 inviting online applications for 231 Fisheries Extension Officer (Matsya Prasar Padadhikari) posts under the Fisheries Directorate and its subordinate offices in the Dairy, Fisheries and Animal Resources Department, Bihar. Applications can be submitted from 24 September 2026 to 23 October 2026 at btsc.bihar.gov.in on payment of a Rs 100 application fee. Eligible candidates must hold a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries Science from a Fisheries College recognised by ICAR, New Delhi, with a minimum age of 21 years as on 1 August 2026 and maximum age capped at 37 years for unreserved candidates, 40 years for unreserved women and BC/EBC candidates, and 42 years for SC/ST candidates. The post carries Pay Level-7. Selection will be based on a 100-mark Computer-Based Test (75 marks) combined with up to 25 marks for relevant contractual work experience, followed by document verification, making this one of the larger technical recruitments for fisheries graduates in Bihar this year.

बिहार तकनीकी सेवा आयोग (BTSC) ने 24 सितंबर 2026 को विज्ञापन संख्या 28/2026 जारी कर बिहार सरकार के डेयरी, मत्स्य एवं पशु संसाधन विभाग के अंतर्गत मत्स्य निदेशालय व इसके अधीनस्थ कार्यालयों में मत्स्य प्रसार पदाधिकारी के 231 पदों हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं। आवेदन 24 सितंबर 2026 से 23 अक्टूबर 2026 तक btsc.bihar.gov.in पर 100 रुपये शुल्क के साथ किए जा सकते हैं। पात्र अभ्यर्थियों के पास ICAR, नई दिल्ली से मान्यता प्राप्त मत्स्य महाविद्यालय से चार वर्षीय फिशरीज साइंस स्नातक डिग्री होनी चाहिए, आयु 1 अगस्त 2026 के अनुसार न्यूनतम 21 वर्ष तथा अधिकतम अनारक्षित के लिए 37 वर्ष, अनारक्षित महिला व BC/EBC के लिए 40 वर्ष और SC/ST के लिए 42 वर्ष निर्धारित है। इस पद का वेतन स्तर 7 है। चयन 100 अंकों की कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा (75 अंक) और संबंधित संविदा कार्य अनुभव के अधिकतम 25 अंकों के आधार पर होगा, इसके बाद दस्तावेज सत्यापन होगा, जो इस वर्ष फिशरीज स्नातकों के लिए बिहार की सबसे बड़ी तकनीकी भर्तियों में से एक है।
