The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has released Recruitment Notification No. 08 of 2026 for 518 vacancies across UT, Divisional, and District cadre posts in various government departments. The Health and Medical Education Department accounts for the largest share with 421 posts, followed by the Higher Education Department with 48 posts, the Agriculture Production Department with 46 posts, and the Labour and Employment Department with 3 posts. Online applications will open on 10 September 2026 and close on 9 October 2026 through the official website, jkssb.nic.in. The maximum age limit is 40 years for open merit candidates, extending up to 43 years for reserved categories, with relaxation applied as on 1 January 2026. Selection will be based on an OMR-based objective written examination, followed by document verification for shortlisted candidates. Selected candidates will be placed on pay scales ranging from Rs. 15,900 to Rs. 81,100 depending on the post level. Eligible candidates should review the detailed notification before applying.

जम्मू-कश्मीर सेवा चयन बोर्ड (जेकेएसएसबी) ने भर्ती अधिसूचना संख्या 08/2026 जारी की है, जिसमें विभिन्न सरकारी विभागों में यूटी, डिविजनल व डिस्ट्रिक्ट कैडर के 518 पद शामिल हैं। स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा विभाग में सबसे अधिक 421 पद हैं, इसके बाद उच्च शिक्षा विभाग में 48, कृषि उत्पादन विभाग में 46 तथा श्रम एवं रोजगार विभाग में 3 पद हैं। ऑनलाइन आवेदन 10 सितंबर 2026 से शुरू होकर 9 अक्टूबर 2026 तक आधिकारिक वेबसाइट jkssb.nic.in पर स्वीकार किए जाएंगे। अधिकतम आयु सीमा सामान्य वर्ग के लिए 40 वर्ष तथा आरक्षित श्रेणियों के लिए 43 वर्ष तक है, जिसकी गणना 1 जनवरी 2026 के आधार पर होगी। चयन ओएमआर आधारित वस्तुनिष्ठ लिखित परीक्षा के जरिए होगा, इसके बाद शॉर्टलिस्ट उम्मीदवारों का दस्तावेज सत्यापन किया जाएगा। चयनित उम्मीदवारों को पद स्तर के अनुसार 15,900 से 81,100 रुपये तक वेतनमान मिलेगा। पात्र उम्मीदवार आवेदन से पहले विस्तृत अधिसूचना जरूर पढ़ें।
