The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has released a notification for 2,863 Class IV posts covering Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Sanitation Worker positions across UT Cadre, Divisional Cadre, and District Cadre. Online applications open on 5 October 2026 and close on 3 November 2026 at jkssb.nic.in. Applicants must be aged between 18 and 40 years and hold minimum 8th pass and maximum 10+2 educational qualification, along with a valid Jammu and Kashmir domicile certificate. The application fee is Rs. 600 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, and Rs. 500 for SC, ST, and PwD categories. Selected candidates will be placed on Pay Scale SL1, drawing a monthly salary in the range of Rs. 14,800 to Rs. 47,100. Selection will be based on a written examination followed by document verification. This is one of the largest Class IV recruitment drives announced by JKSSB in recent years and is expected to attract a very large number of applicants from across the union territory.

जम्मू-कश्मीर सेवा चयन बोर्ड (JKSSB) ने यूटी कैडर, डिविजनल कैडर और डिस्ट्रिक्ट कैडर में मल्टी-टास्किंग स्टाफ (एमटीएस) व सफाई कर्मचारी के कुल 2,863 क्लास 4 पदों के लिए अधिसूचना जारी की है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन jkssb.nic.in पर 5 अक्टूबर 2026 से शुरू होकर 3 नवंबर 2026 तक चलेंगे। आवेदकों की आयु 18 से 40 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए, न्यूनतम शैक्षणिक योग्यता 8वीं पास और अधिकतम 10+2 तय की गई है, साथ ही वैध जम्मू-कश्मीर डोमिसाइल प्रमाणपत्र आवश्यक है। आवेदन शुल्क सामान्य, ईडब्ल्यूएस और ओबीसी वर्ग के लिए 600 रुपये तथा एससी, एसटी और दिव्यांग वर्ग के लिए 500 रुपये है। चयनित उम्मीदवारों को पे स्केल SL1 के तहत 14,800 से 47,100 रुपये मासिक वेतन मिलेगा। चयन प्रक्रिया में लिखित परीक्षा के बाद दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन शामिल होगा। यह हाल के वर्षों में JKSSB की सबसे बड़ी क्लास 4 भर्ती अभियानों में से एक है और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश भर से भारी संख्या में आवेदन आने की उम्मीद है।
