The National Health Mission, Tamil Nadu (NHM-TN) has invited applications for 4,724 contractual Staff Nurse posts across District Health Societies, with the application window open from 12 September to 25 September 2026, 5:00 PM. Vacancies are distributed district-wise under institutions run by the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, the Directorate of Medical and Rural Health Services, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, and the Greater Chennai Corporation. Eligible candidates must hold a GNM diploma or a B.Sc Nursing degree along with valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, and must be up to 50 years of age. Unlike most drives, applications for this contractual position must be submitted offline to the concerned District Health Office rather than through an online portal. Selected Staff Nurses will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 21,000. Interested nursing candidates across Tamil Nadu should collect the prescribed application format from their district health office and submit it before the deadline with the required certificates.

राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन, तमिलनाडु (एनएचएम-टीएन) ने जिला स्वास्थ्य समितियों के अंतर्गत 4,724 संविदा स्टाफ नर्स पदों के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं, जिसकी आवेदन खिड़की 12 सितंबर से 25 सितंबर 2026 शाम 5 बजे तक खुली रहेगी। पद सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य एवं निवारक चिकित्सा निदेशालय, चिकित्सा एवं ग्रामीण स्वास्थ्य सेवा निदेशालय, चिकित्सा शिक्षा एवं अनुसंधान निदेशालय तथा ग्रेटर चेन्नई कॉर्पोरेशन के अंतर्गत जिलावार वितरित हैं। पात्र उम्मीदवारों के पास जीएनएम डिप्लोमा या बी.एस्सी नर्सिंग डिग्री के साथ तमिलनाडु नर्सेस एंड मिडवाइव्स काउंसिल का वैध पंजीकरण होना चाहिए, तथा अधिकतम आयु 50 वर्ष है। अधिकांश भर्तियों से अलग, इस संविदा पद के लिए आवेदन ऑनलाइन पोर्टल के बजाय संबंधित जिला स्वास्थ्य कार्यालय या जिला स्वास्थ्य समिति को ऑफलाइन जमा करना होगा। चयनित स्टाफ नर्सों को 21,000 रुपये प्रतिमाह समेकित वेतन मिलेगा।
