The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) released the notification for UP PGT Recruitment 2026 (Advertisement No. 06/2026) on 15 September 2026, inviting online applications for 2,607 Post Graduate Teacher (Lecturer) posts in non-government aided secondary schools across the state, comprising 2,329 posts in boys' schools and 278 posts in girls' schools spread across 26 subjects including Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, History, and Geography. Online registration began on 18 September 2026 and will continue until 17 October 2026. Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject along with an NCTE-recognised B.Ed degree; unlike TGT recruitment, no teacher eligibility test (TET) is required for this PGT cycle. The minimum age is 21 years, and the maximum age is linked to the state's superannuation age of 62 years, calculated as on 1 July 2026. Interested candidates can complete One Time Registration (OTR) and apply through the official UPESSC website.

उत्तर प्रदेश शिक्षा सेवा चयन आयोग (यूपीईएसएससी) ने 15 सितंबर 2026 को यूपी पीजीटी भर्ती 2026 (विज्ञापन संख्या 06/2026) की अधिसूचना जारी की, जिसमें राज्य के गैर-सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट टीचर (प्रवक्ता) के 2,607 पदों हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित हैं, जिनमें बालक विद्यालयों में 2,329 तथा बालिका विद्यालयों में 278 पद हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, संस्कृत, गणित, भौतिकी, रसायन विज्ञान, इतिहास व भूगोल सहित 26 विषयों में शामिल हैं। ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण 18 सितंबर 2026 से शुरू होकर 17 अक्टूबर 2026 तक चलेगा। उम्मीदवार के पास संबंधित विषय में स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री तथा एनसीटीई-मान्यता प्राप्त बीएड डिग्री होनी चाहिए; टीजीटी भर्ती के विपरीत, इस पीजीटी चक्र हेतु शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (टीईटी) आवश्यक नहीं है। न्यूनतम आयु 21 वर्ष तथा अधिकतम आयु 1 जुलाई 2026 को राज्य की सेवानिवृत्ति आयु 62 वर्ष से जुड़ी है। इच्छुक उम्मीदवार वन टाइम रजिस्ट्रेशन (ओटीआर) कर आधिकारिक यूपीईएसएससी वेबसाइट पर आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
