उत्तर प्रदेश शिक्षा सेवा चयन आयोग (यूपीईएसएससी) ने विज्ञापन संख्या 04/2026 के तहत सहायक प्रोफेसर चयन परीक्षा 2026 की अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है, जिसमें सरकारी डिग्री कॉलेजों में 42 विषयों के 1,936 पद हैं, इनमें सह-शिक्षा कॉलेजों के लिए 1,564 पद व महिला कॉलेजों के लिए आरक्षित 372 पद शामिल हैं। ऑनलाइन आवेदन 8 सितंबर 2026 से शुरू हुए हैं और 7 अक्टूबर 2026 तक चलेंगे, विषयवार आवेदन फॉर्म भरने से पहले वन टाइम रजिस्ट्रेशन (ओटीआर) अनिवार्य किया गया है। आवेदकों के पास संबंधित विषय में मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से कम से कम 55 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री होनी चाहिए, साथ ही यूजीसी नियमानुसार नेट, सेट, स्लेट या पीएचडी उत्तीर्ण होना जरूरी है; पद के लिए अधिकतम आयु सीमा सेवानिवृत्ति आयु यानी 62 वर्ष तक है। लिखित परीक्षा 19 और 20 नवंबर 2026 को प्रस्तावित है। इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों को पहले ओटीआर पूरा करना चाहिए और फिर आधिकारिक यूपीईएसएससी पोर्टल के माध्यम से आवेदन करना चाहिए, अंतिम सबमिशन से पहले विषय चयन, श्रेणी व दस्तावेज सही जांच लें क्योंकि समय सीमा के बाद सुधार की अनुमति आमतौर पर नहीं होती।
