The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the notification for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2027 on 16 September 2026, inviting online applications for 480 vacancies across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering disciplines in various central government departments and organisations. Online applications opened the same day and will close on 6 October 2026 at 6:00 PM. Eligible candidates must hold an engineering degree or equivalent qualification and be aged between 21 and 30 years as on 1 January 2027, with standard age relaxation applicable for reserved categories. The application fee is Rs. 200 for General, EWS, and OBC male candidates, while female candidates and those from SC, ST, or PwBD categories are exempted from payment. The selection process consists of three stages: a Preliminary Examination scheduled for 31 January 2027, followed by a Mains Examination on 18 June 2027 for candidates who clear the prelims, and a Personality Test for those who qualify the Mains. Candidates should apply online at upsc.gov.in before the deadline.

संघ लोक सेवा आयोग (यूपीएससी) ने 16 सितंबर 2026 को इंजीनियरिंग सेवा परीक्षा (ईएसई) 2027 की अधिसूचना जारी की, जिसमें विभिन्न केंद्र सरकार विभागों व संगठनों में सिविल, मैकेनिकल, इलेक्ट्रिकल तथा इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एंड टेलीकम्युनिकेशन इंजीनियरिंग शाखाओं में कुल 480 रिक्तियों हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए गए हैं। ऑनलाइन आवेदन उसी दिन से शुरू होकर 6 अक्टूबर 2026 शाम 6:00 बजे तक चलेंगे। पात्र उम्मीदवारों के पास इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री या समकक्ष योग्यता होनी चाहिए तथा 1 जनवरी 2027 तक आयु 21 से 30 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए, आरक्षित श्रेणियों हेतु मानक आयु छूट लागू है। आवेदन शुल्क सामान्य, ईडब्ल्यूएस व ओबीसी पुरुष उम्मीदवारों हेतु 200 रुपये है, जबकि महिला तथा एससी, एसटी व दिव्यांग उम्मीदवारों को शुल्क से छूट है। चयन प्रक्रिया तीन चरणों में होगी: 31 जनवरी 2027 को प्रारंभिक परीक्षा, इसके बाद प्रीलिम्स क्वालिफाई करने वाले उम्मीदवारों हेतु 18 जून 2027 को मुख्य परीक्षा, तथा मुख्य परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वालों हेतु व्यक्तित्व परीक्षण। उम्मीदवार अंतिम तिथि से पहले upsc.gov.in पर ऑनलाइन आवेदन करें।
