बंदरगाह और पोत मंत्रालय के अधीन सार्वजनिक उपक्रम कोचीन शिपयार्ड लिमिटेड (सीएसएल) ने 19 अगस्त 2026 को 60 शिप ड्राफ्ट्समैन ट्रेनी पदों (47 मैकेनिकल और 13 इलेक्ट्रिकल) हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन शुरू किए, जिसकी अंतिम तिथि 4 सितंबर 2026 है। पात्र उम्मीदवारों की आयु 25 वर्ष से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए तथा उनके पास एससीएलसी के साथ मैकेनिकल या इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरिंग में 3 वर्षीय डिप्लोमा (कम से कम 60% अंक) और CAD सॉफ्टवेयर की जानकारी होनी चाहिए। चयनित उम्मीदवार 2 वर्ष के प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम से गुजरेंगे जिसमें पहले वर्ष 14,000 रुपये प्रतिमाह स्टाइपेंड मिलेगा जो दूसरे वर्ष 20,000 रुपये तक बढ़ेगा, और प्रदर्शन के आधार पर 5 वर्ष तक संविदा विस्तार संभव है। आवेदन वन टाइम रजिस्ट्रेशन (OTR) पूर्ण करके CSL के SAP-आधारित ऑनलाइन पोर्टल से ही स्वीकार किए जाएंगे; उम्मीदवार फॉर्म भरने से पहले स्कैन किए गए प्रमाणपत्र, फोटो व हस्ताक्षर तैयार रखें।
