The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has reopened online applications for Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment 2026, first advertised under Advertisement No. 07/2026, to fill a total of 262 vacancies across Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering disciplines. The reopened window runs from 1 September to 9 September 2026 on the official portal, sssb.punjab.gov.in, and is meant for eligible candidates who could not apply during the original cycle; those who already submitted an application earlier do not need to apply again. Candidates must hold a three-year diploma, or an equivalent or higher qualification, in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised institution, and must be between 18 and 37 years of age as on 1 January 2026, with standard age relaxation for reserved categories. Selected Junior Engineers, Civil and Mechanical, will start on an initial monthly pay of Rs 35,400 under the 7th Central Pay Commission matrix. Aspirants should complete registration, upload the required documents and pay the application fee online well before the 9 September deadline.

पंजाब सबऑर्डिनेट सर्विसेज सिलेक्शन बोर्ड (PSSSB) ने जूनियर इंजीनियर (JE) भर्ती 2026, जो पहले विज्ञापन संख्या 07/2026 के तहत जारी हुई थी, के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन पोर्टल फिर से खोल दिया है, जिसके तहत सिविल, मैकेनिकल और इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरिंग शाखाओं में कुल 262 पदों को भरा जाएगा। यह पोर्टल 1 सितंबर से 9 सितंबर 2026 तक आधिकारिक वेबसाइट sssb.punjab.gov.in पर सक्रिय रहेगा और उन योग्य उम्मीदवारों के लिए है जो पहले आवेदन नहीं कर पाए थे; जिन उम्मीदवारों ने पहले ही आवेदन कर दिया है, उन्हें दोबारा आवेदन करने की जरूरत नहीं है। उम्मीदवारों के पास संबंधित इंजीनियरिंग शाखा में किसी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से तीन वर्षीय डिप्लोमा या समकक्ष अथवा उच्चतर योग्यता होनी चाहिए, और उनकी आयु 1 जनवरी 2026 को 18 से 37 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए, आरक्षित वर्गों को नियमानुसार छूट मिलेगी। चयनित जूनियर इंजीनियर (सिविल व मैकेनिकल) को 7वें वेतन आयोग के अनुसार शुरुआती वेतन 35,400 रुपये प्रतिमाह मिलेगा। इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों को 9 सितंबर की अंतिम तिथि से पहले पंजीकरण, दस्तावेज अपलोड और शुल्क भुगतान पूरा कर लेना चाहिए।
