The Directorate of School Education, Recruitment Directorate, Punjab has opened the Punjab Lecturer Cadre Recruitment 2026 for 1,013 vacancies, comprising 829 fresh and 184 backlog posts, across 12 subjects including History, English, Political Science, Punjabi, and Mathematics for government senior secondary schools. Candidates need a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned subject along with a B.Ed, and must be aged between 18 and 37 years as on 1 January 2026, with 5-year relaxation for Punjab's SC/BC candidates and up to 45 years for serving government employees. The online application window, open since 1 July 2026 at erd.punjab.gov.in, closes on 27 August 2026, with an application fee of ₹2,000 for General and ₹1,000 for SC/BC candidates. Selection is based on a 150-mark objective written test to be held in two shifts on 5, 6, 12, 13, and 20 September 2026, followed by document verification, with selected lecturers drawing a fixed basic pay of ₹35,400 during probation.

डायरेक्टोरेट ऑफ स्कूल एजुकेशन, रिक्रूटमेंट डायरेक्टोरेट, पंजाब ने सरकारी सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूलों के लिए इतिहास, अंग्रेज़ी, राजनीति विज्ञान, पंजाबी और गणित सहित 12 विषयों में 1,013 लेक्चरर पदों (829 नए + 184 बैकलॉग) की भर्ती 2026 शुरू की है। उम्मीदवारों के पास संबंधित विषय में कम से कम 55% अंकों के साथ मास्टर डिग्री और B.Ed होना आवश्यक है, तथा 1 जनवरी 2026 को आयु 18 से 37 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए, पंजाब के SC/BC उम्मीदवारों को 5 वर्ष की छूट और सरकारी कर्मचारियों को 45 वर्ष तक की छूट मिलेगी। 1 जुलाई 2026 से erd.punjab.gov.in पर खुली ऑनलाइन आवेदन विंडो 27 अगस्त 2026 को बंद होगी, आवेदन शुल्क सामान्य वर्ग के लिए ₹2,000 और SC/BC के लिए ₹1,000 है। चयन 150 अंकों की वस्तुनिष्ठ लिखित परीक्षा पर आधारित होगा जो 5, 6, 12, 13 और 20 सितंबर 2026 को दो पालियों में होगी, इसके बाद दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन होगा, चयनित लेक्चरर को प्रोबेशन के दौरान ₹35,400 का निश्चित मूल वेतन मिलेगा।
