The Railway Recruitment Board has issued Corrigendum-1 to the RRB JE 2026 notification (CEN 04/2026), increasing total vacancies from 3,993 to 4,029 for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant posts across Indian Railways. The revision, dated 18 August 2026, adds 35 Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant vacancies and one additional Junior Engineer (Electrical/TRS) post. Online applications, which opened on 14 August 2026, remain open till 13 September 2026 at rrbapply.gov.in. Candidates must be aged 18 to 33 years as on 1 January 2027, with standard age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories as per Government of India norms. Eligibility requires a diploma or degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised institution. Selection will be through Computer-Based Test 1 and CBT 2, followed by document verification and medical examination, with CBT 1 tentatively scheduled for October 2026. Candidates who already applied need not reapply; those yet to apply should complete registration before the revised deadline closes.

रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड (RRB) ने RRB JE 2026 अधिसूचना (CEN 04/2026) में शुद्धिपत्र-1 जारी करते हुए जूनियर इंजीनियर, डिपो मटेरियल सुपरिंटेंडेंट और केमिकल एंड मेटलर्जिकल असिस्टेंट पदों की कुल रिक्तियां 3,993 से बढ़ाकर 4,029 कर दी हैं। 18 अगस्त 2026 को जारी इस संशोधन में 35 केमिकल एंड मेटलर्जिकल असिस्टेंट पद और एक अतिरिक्त जूनियर इंजीनियर (इलेक्ट्रिकल/टीआरएस) पद जोड़ा गया है। 14 अगस्त 2026 से शुरू हुए ऑनलाइन आवेदन rrbapply.gov.in पर 13 सितंबर 2026 तक स्वीकार किए जाएंगे। उम्मीदवारों की आयु 1 जनवरी 2027 को 18 से 33 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए, एससी, एसटी, ओबीसी, दिव्यांग और भूतपूर्व सैनिक श्रेणियों को सरकारी नियमों के अनुसार आयु में छूट मिलेगी। पात्रता के लिए संबंधित इंजीनियरिंग विषय में डिप्लोमा या डिग्री आवश्यक है। चयन सीबीटी-1 और सीबीटी-2 के बाद दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन तथा चिकित्सा परीक्षण के माध्यम से होगा; सीबीटी-1 अस्थायी रूप से अक्टूबर 2026 में प्रस्तावित है। जिन उम्मीदवारों ने पहले ही आवेदन कर दिया है उन्हें दोबारा आवेदन की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
