The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission declared the result of the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector Prohibition 2026 Preliminary Examination on 12 August 2026, for recruitment against Advertisement No. 03/2026, which covers 78 Sub-Inspector Prohibition vacancies in the Special Branch. The preliminary examination was conducted on 12 July 2026 at centres across Bihar. A total of 1,560 candidates, roughly twenty times the total vacancies distributed across reserved and unreserved categories, have qualified from the prelims stage and been shortlisted for the Mains Written Examination.
