The State Bank of India (SBI) declared the SBI PO Prelims Result 2026 on 28 August 2026 on its official careers website, with a total of 15,802 candidates shortlisted to appear for the Mains examination. The Preliminary Examination for the Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment drive was conducted online in an objective format covering English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability, and only candidates who cleared both the sectional and overall cut-off marks set by SBI have qualified. Shortlisted candidates can check their roll number and result status by logging in with their registration number or roll number and password or date of birth at sbi.co.in/careers, where the result PDF and category-wise cut-off marks are also available for download. The SBI PO Mains Examination is scheduled for 12 September 2026, and the call letter is expected in the first week of September 2026. Candidates advancing to Mains should now focus on Data Analysis, Banking Awareness, English and Reasoning, since Mains also carries a Descriptive Test and Interview.
