The National Testing Agency declared the UGC NET June 2026 result on 28 August 2026 for 84 of the 87 subjects tested, alongside the final answer key, covering roughly 6.07 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam. Results and category-wise scorecards are available on ugcnet.nta.nic.in, where candidates can check their status using their application number and date of birth. The qualifying cut-off is 40 percent in both papers for General and General-EWS candidates, and 35 percent for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD, and third-gender candidates, with separate, subject-wise cut-offs determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor posts, and PhD admission. Results for English, Commerce, and Sociology were withheld from this round because those three papers are being re-conducted on 9 and 10 September 2026 following a reported irregularity during the original examination; their results will follow after evaluation of that re-exam. Qualified candidates should retain their scorecard, as it is required for JRF fellowship processing and university-level PhD and teaching-post applications across India.

नेशनल टेस्टिंग एजेंसी (एनटीए) ने 28 अगस्त 2026 को यूजीसी नेट जून 2026 का परिणाम फाइनल आंसर की के साथ 87 में से 84 विषयों के लिए घोषित कर दिया, जिसमें करीब 6.07 लाख उम्मीदवारों ने परीक्षा दी थी। परिणाम व श्रेणीवार स्कोरकार्ड ugcnet.nta.nic.in पर उपलब्ध हैं, जहां उम्मीदवार अपना आवेदन नंबर व जन्मतिथि डालकर स्थिति देख सकते हैं। सामान्य व जनरल-ईडब्ल्यूएस उम्मीदवारों के लिए क्वालिफाइंग कट-ऑफ दोनों पेपर में 40 प्रतिशत है, जबकि एससी, एसटी, ओबीसी-एनसीएल, दिव्यांग व थर्ड जेंडर उम्मीदवारों के लिए 35 प्रतिशत है, जेआरएफ, असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर पद व पीएचडी प्रवेश के लिए अलग-अलग विषयवार कट-ऑफ लागू होगी। अंग्रेजी, कॉमर्स व सोशियोलॉजी विषयों के परिणाम इस चरण में शामिल नहीं किए गए क्योंकि मूल परीक्षा में गड़बड़ी की शिकायत के बाद इन तीन विषयों की परीक्षा 9 व 10 सितंबर 2026 को दोबारा होगी; इनका परिणाम उस पुनर्परीक्षा के मूल्यांकन के बाद जारी होगा। क्वालिफाई करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को अपना स्कोरकार्ड संभालकर रखना चाहिए क्योंकि यह जेआरएफ फेलोशिप प्रक्रिया व देशभर के विश्वविद्यालयों में पीएचडी व शिक्षण पद आवेदन के लिए आवश्यक है।
